Here’s Some Hot Political Advice: Don’t Advise Women to Be Whores

Lunatic of the Week?

This numb-skull politician from Camden County New Jersey just guaranteed that not only will he not win the race he has entered, but also that he probably won’t be welcome among the female populace, or frankly, anywhere in the civilized world.  Even the average Neanderthal who believes something like this ought to be smart enough never to say it publicly while also seeking election to public office.  The NYDaily News website is reporting that Phil Mitsch, Republican candidate for New Jersey State Senate tweeted a bit of advice to women who wish to hold on to their men.   This genius tweeted the following:

“Women, you increase your odds of keeping your men by being faithful, a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom.”

No word as to whether he will now move to New York to seek the former Weiner seat in 2012.  I guess we can be glad he didn’t tweet pictures of his junk, right?  The State’s GOP has withdrawn its support, so we can assume that Chris Christie won’t be joining him on the campaign trail anytime soon.  Democrats are naturally making hay of this one, and you can expect this to lead the nightly news tomorrow.  After all, Mitsch is a Republican, and we all know their scandals are elevated much higher than any Democrat’s.

In a stunning development, this goofball actually tried to defend his remark, and more, claimed to have had it his words somehow edited, or something… It’s only going to be a moment or two before he claims he was “hacked.”  I’ve got some news for this guy, but I doubt he was “hacked” any more than Weiner had been (until Huma got her hands on him, I’m sure,) but he does share one other thing with Anthony Weiner: He is a hack.  I expect this incident will cut his political career short, but let’s assume the blow won’t be lethal.  New Jersey politics surely won’t miss him.

So here’s some really important advice to politicians:  If you think it’s cute and clever, shut the hell up, and keep it to yourself, particularly if it’s advice to women suggesting that at any point, or for any reason, they should behave like whores.  It’s probably not a prudent electoral strategy.

I'm actually not offended at the comment. I'm offended that a politician said it, and as some sort of "advice" to women. That's not the type of advice a man should be giving. I've heard the quip before, and in a way I agree with it. But it sounds creepy coming out of the mouth of a man, and a man who is a politician. Particularly creep coming out of THAT man. [shudder]

Agreed. The comment didn't offend me, just his pompous attitude. I mean, seriously, would you want to spank that creature? :)

just a guy being a guy. Americans have all turned gay.

Agreed Frank, since women don't follow that advise, now men are, er…always have been the whores…. lol
Just saying there comes a point in many marriages where sex is the furthest thing on a womans mind since the y have to share the burden of being bread winners to survive and take on most of the family's care… I have to wonder what the outcome would be today if someone did a poll on womens lib if they all knew what it was like before it happened, when it only took one income to support a family… But back then there was more importance on raising a family as today sex seems to be the more important factor, to men at least…
In conversation I had with a female friend telling me I should divorce my wife because she no longer cares about sex after 23 years of marriage, I asked her what she would do if something happened to her fiancee after a few years of marriage and couldn't have sex? Her answer was "we already discussed it and agreed to get divorced if either one of us lost the desire or ability to have sex." Now how sad is that?

I don't know about the other respondents, but I am a woman and have to say I'm not offended, though I agree when given as "advice" by a man, it really does not come off well, and really any politician of any party is an idiot to say it. The reason I'm not offended is because I was given this advice by my own mother back in the 60's when it certainly wasn't spoken openly about. Her quote was a little more detailed though and I passed it on to my own daughters and believe in it. She said "a man wants 3 things and if you provide them you will be happy and he will be too. 1, A lady he can be proud of and show off to the world, 2. A girl he can take care and let him know he's needed and 3. a whore in the bedroom. It's been my experience and after watching many people's relationships last and fail….that her advice is as true today as it was back then. But, leave it to mom's to pass on to daughters, not something a man should be telling women at large.
