Rick Santorum Says Romney Disqualified

Santorum Points the Way

Hallelujah! Finally, one of the non-Romneys has noticed what I’ve been saying in various forms for some time, and something I repeated Sunday: Mitt Romney’s Romney-care plan disqualifies him because it robs Republicans of the biggest issue they have on their side.   More than 60% of Americans are opposed to Obama-care, and Romney’s own Massachusetts health-care reform was the model for Obama-care.  Congratulations to Rick Santorum for recognizing this important truth.

Said Senator Santorum in an interview with Fox News on Sunday:

“Romneycare is a real scarlet letter here,” he said. “We can’t have a nominee that takes away the most important issue in this election, which is an explosion of the federal government and robbing of people’s freedom on the federal level with Obamacare.”

Senator Santorum gets it.  I am ecstatic that one of these candidates understands how critically important the issue of Obama-care will be to defeating Barack Obama.  He is right to suggest that giving away this issue is political “malpractice.”  Unless and until the conservative base of the party realizes this, and walks away from Romney as they should, they’re doomed to repeat 2008 in 2012, only worse.

    Saying "disqualified" is good, but he should go further and repeatedly use your phrase "political suicide" and "forfeiting the election." People don't like to lose and they don't like a loser. He should also turn the tables on the msm and Fox by having them admit that having Rommney as the nominee forfeits this central issue in the general election.

    This could be both your answer and mine to my post on your Sunday article. As you said, Obamacare has to be an issue, pretyy much the main issue as it also dovetails into many other key issues, and Romney absolutely can not carry the torch on this one, for he has disqualified himself. Period!
    We shall see how Rick, first name basis, continues to handle himself on this one. Definitely has potential here. He is definitely one that God can speak too. I know that God spoke through a jackass in the Bible, but I do not think he could speak to Obama, as you have to be a willing listener. Muslims, like Obama, are not willing listeners.
    Let's see how it plays out with Rick, first name basis again, but if he should succeed, it will be President Santorum – doesn't have a bad ring to it.

      Unfortunately Rick has no respect for the constitution. He is a corrupt K-street, big-government politician who only has his interests at heart. Don't trust Santorum!

        Totally agree. Santorum is a Big Government Establishment Insider who will give us more of the same. Only Ron Paul can and will deliver us from the tyranny of the New World Order candidates, which include all of the current GOP candidates except for the original Tea Party guy…. Ron Paul.

    the problem with Hillary care and Romney care and Obama care is that the so call mandatory part is a noun

    Any legislative act that imposed a sentence of death and attainder upon one or more specific individuals or groups without a trial or other judicial proceeding.
    In United States constitutional law, any legislative act that prescribes a punishment on one or more specific individuals or groups or denies them of civil or political rights without a trial or other judicial proceeding. Such enactments are prohibited by the United States Constitution. See also attainder, bill of pains and particulars, and civil death.
    you are ordered to buy product and if you do not you are fined for not doing it
    it is also a violation of Amendment V

    No person shall be , nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;

    it is time to quite debating and start telling the people how to stop the violation of their oaths of office . Thur the grand jury and the sheriff of each county start arresting all and stop this treason .
    in 2010 the american people said loud and clear back to Constitution and enforce the laws and kill those bills .
