Correcting the Record

Tuesday, the 4th of October is a new day, like every one before it has been.  Like every one before it, it offers new opportunities, but for we supporters of Sarah Palin, it offers one in particular.   On this Tuesday, the film by Stephen K. Bannon, The Undefeated comes to stores near you on DVD!  Now, you will be able to get your own copy, and purchase them for friends and relatives, but best of all, you can hold your own The Undefeated viewing parties.  Do you want the truth about Governor Sarah Palin to get out to an audience hungry for a different kind of leader, but who have been led astray by the Lamestream Media, and even some in the GOP establishment?  If you want your chance to show people the truth, to correct the record and inform them, finally, here’s your chance.

I received my copy today.  Tomorrow, I intend to go by the local Walmart and round up a couple copies to distribute to friends who’ve been led into doubts about Governor Palin.  It’s time that this story is told to a wider audience, and we are just the people to help the film tell it.  This film is a wealth of real information about the real accomplishments of a real American champion of liberty.

For once, we have a new opportunity to go out there and make that difference we always say we wish to make.  I’m going to ask you, my readers, to submit your stories over the coming days and weeks as you hold viewing parties, and let everybody here know what it was like.  Provide the impressions of your guests, and tell me about them.  Let’s make of this the opportunity it should be to bring Americans together around the truth.  Submit your stories about your viewing parties as comments on this post.

Politics is an ugly game at times, but as we all know, it frequently has deadly-serious consequences.  We mustn’t permit this story to go untold, and I firmly believe this is our best opportunity to correct the record about an American who has faced incredible injustices at the hands of the media and the permanent political class.

Back in July, when I first saw this film at Grapevine, TX, I came home and wrote a review.  If you don’t remember it, or weren’t part of my small audience back then, I’d encourage you to read it:  We and She: The Undefeated

Here’s your opportunity.  We always lament the media attempts to destroy Sarah Palin.  We rightly complain that we’re treated almost as poorly.  Here’s your opportunity to begin changing all of that at a more rapid rate.  It’s the most effective debunking tool for all the media lies.  Pick up your copy of The Undefeated, the film that may yet help change the world.

The Rape America Rally

Watching the video  coverage of the “Occupy Wall Street” business has made me sick.  These people aren’t interested in anything but undermining our country.   These are Marxists, plain and simple, and they are operating at the behest of Obama and his friends.  This is a complete set-up, and you need to prepare yourself for the revolution these people desire.  It’s time to prepare ourselves for what is coming.  The leftists are actually planning a revolution, and this is the build-up.  Let’s be honest:  We will not survive this if we don’t permit ourselves to see what these people intend. Here are their absurd proposed demands, as published on their site with my response:

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending “Freetrade” by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Why not fifty? Why not one-thousand? Arbitrary wage-setting increases poverty.  MORONS.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Obama has it coming. It will result in lower life expectancies and higher costs, with poorer care, on average. Move to Cuba to sample.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Money for Nothing (and the chicks for free?)  Yes, the world will provide you a living without you producing anything of value.  Idiots.

Demand four: Free college education.

Go pick it from the tree on which it grows. Go ahead.  Losers.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Fossil fuels ended? So you want to return to the stone age?  That’s the current alternative, and for the near-term future.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Who pays? How?  What good is infrastructure for people who neither work nor produce?

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America’s nuclear power plants.

So, truly back to the stone age.  How many Americans do you goons intend to murder?

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

We have those already.  Try history.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Sorry, that means you wish to destroy our country.  You’re a pathetic minority using bully tactics. SCREW YOU!

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

What’s your model here? Cuba?  Iran?

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the “Books.” World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the “Books.” And I don’t mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

We know, we know: You believe money grows on trees.  Too bad. Pay your bills.  The rest of us do. You have no valid excuses. If you’re able-bodied enough to participate in this idiotic “movement,” you are able to work.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

I have a better idea: Why don’t you avoid indebtedness you cannot afford?

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

I know, and you want it to be a recorded vote so you can intimidate workers who are smart enough to know the unions will mostly just cut their throats and live off their “contributions.”

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

And flying monkeys will shoot out of your butts!  Grow up, you present the demands of looters and thugs.

I’ve got news for you geniuses:  If you try this, I will oppose you.  If you try to coerce this outcome, I will defend against it.  You’d better slink back to Mommy and Daddy’s basements and re-evaluate your miserable existence.  I will not be calling government to protect me from you.  Your pal Obama won’t make me wince in pain.  He can set you dogs upon me all day long, but he’s not going to be able to pull it off.  Sorry, but I don’t live by your permission.  You’re treasonous filth.

The Establishment’s Fake Chris Christie “Ground-swell”

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Too Close For Comfort?

If you watch Fox News, or indeed, almost any media, suddenly, all the buzz is about New Jersey Governor Christie and his possible entry into the GOP nomination fight.  I think this is a lot of smoke and mirrors.  Christie currently has national name recognition on par with so-called second-tier candidates, and with the primary season moving up, it’s hard to imagine him building sufficient name recognition outside the Northeast corridor.  Of course, Ailes over at Fox News has been doing his best to give him more media coverage and drive up the number of people who recognize him, but this is just another example of the manufactured hype being created around Christie.  The GOP establishment is either looking for somebody new to play javelin-catcher now that Romney is back in front,  or they hope to supplant Romney with somebody they think can cause more excitement.   Either way, Chris Christie may well be just the man for the job.  As part of their bid to make Christie more palatable to the base, they placed him in the presence of Nancy Reagan last week, but this an awkward attempt at disguising Christie as a Reaganite that gains little from any but the most superficially-inclined voters.

This isn’t to say there aren’t any people genuinely interested in a Christie candidacy.  Ann Coulter has become positively unhinged over the prospect, but the truth is that there’s no real ground-swell of support for the New Jersey governor.  He simply isn’t all that well-known or liked outside the Northeast corridor.  An overbearing, loud-mouthed bullying attitude may play well in New York City, but it simply doesn’t play in Peoria.  If Christie runs, he will not capture the Tea Party segment, and he will not cut into Romney’s core of support.  This leaves one to wonder what Christie’s purpose in running might be.  The answer is simple: He’s there to try to suck up the oxygen in a bid by the establishment of the GOP to stop or at least mute a Palin entry into the field.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.

The simple fact of the matter is that apart from some high-dollar contributors of the crony-capitalist variety, Christie really doesn’t offer much to the Republican party at large.  The Northeast, liberal Republicans already have a candidate, and while they wish he would get more support, they’re satisfied enough that Ann Coulter has now come out to support Romney.  Christie’s only chance to win will depend  upon co-opting the Tea Party segment, and given his record on a number of issues, it is likely that he won’t get their support.  He’s simply too liberal, and too uninterested in issues important to the Tea Party.  He may pay lip service to some of those issues, but as Stephen Bannon pointed out in his interview of Todd Palin Sunday evening, it’s really not much of an accomplishment to cut state budgets when you have no choice, but it is a big deal to cut budgets in time of surplus.  Tea Party folk are discerning enough to recognize this vital distinction.

Chris Christie could best be understood as an exemplar of the problem with the Republican establishment: He doesn’t really believe in the things important to the conservative base of the party, never mind the Tea Party. It’s another sorry charade offered to us in the form of yet one more “savior” for the GOP, just as the line of them we’ve been presented over the last nine months.  What I found particularly telling was the Karl Rove interview by Hannity as they waited for Christie to speak at the Reagan Library last week, and Rove said:

“Well, and look, it’s not just wealthy donors. There have been fellow Republican governors, party activists, grassroots Republican movers and shakers. I mean, this has been a pretty interesting thing to watch. In a very short period of time, since his swearing-in in January of 2010, he’s become quite a figure on the national stage, because of what he’s done as governor. He took on the teachers unions. He’s blunt, he’s straightforward. He’s the every man of American politics. And he’s got a — he’s got quite a following.”

As usual, Karl Rove is trying to paint a picture that bears little resemblance to reality.  To call Christie the “every man of American politics” is a laughable attempt at positioning.  More, when he  says “…it’s not just wealthy donors,” he’s essentially lying.  That’s the vast bulk of Christie’s support, and Rove knows it.  Christie has little in common with the base of the GOP, or the Tea Party, and that’s the point insofar as the establishment is concerned.

I think you can see as well as I what is really going on here.  This is another put-up job by the establishment, and whether they expect Christie to win the primaries, stealing Romney’s base of support, or if he’s being put up as a body-block for Romney, it essentially doesn’t matter.  It’s a hoax  to call this a “ground-swell” or the result of “grassroots Republicans.”  What this really means is Rove and the rest of the GOP establishment are trying to maintain their power.  By now, nobody should be surprised about that.

The Tea Party is Winning

It Could Be Epic

I hesitate to offer this perspective, because I would hate to breed any complacency, so let me state it out front: The Tea Party has a real opportunity in the coming year to make dramatic steps in taking control of the Republican party and then recovering the country from the grasp of would-be tyrants.   Rather than the media’s sneering narrative about the Tea Party “peaking too early,” or “becoming irrelevant,” exactly the opposite is true, and I’d ask that you consider the evidence.  Sunday, on TheHill.com,  there appeared an article to explain the jockeying occurring among the Republicans in the House of Representatives.  Sunday morning, I presented an article explaining the in-fighting going on in the Democrat-held Senate.  The two articles make a nearly perfect pair of book-ends between which to press my point.  Those in the Tea Party movement are a long way from victory, but you are winning.

The article on The Hill examines the dust-up between Tea Party-inclined House members, and their GOP establishment brethren.  Speaker Boehner and the balance of the Republican leadership is desperately attempting to make few waves, but it’s costing them votes as they continue to yield to the president’s big government policies.  One stunning example was the vote in the House on the 21st of September, another continuing resolution as a substitute to a budget we haven’t had for years now.  The staunch Tea Party types, or  at least those fearing their Tea Party voters, refused to support the bill, sending it down to defeat.  This is setting the trend in the House, and the problems the Democrats are experiencing in the Senate have similar roots:  The Democrat senators from more conservative states are now very concerned that they are committing suicide to go along with more tax increases being pushed by their leader Harry Reid, and his whip, Dick Durbin.

For all the nonsense in the media suggesting the Tea Party is dead, or dying, it’s simply not true, and the continual attempts to paint Tea Party folk as racists or hypocrites or kooks should be your biggest, most glaring clue.  The insurrection in both chambers of Congress among both parties against their respective leadership groups is another.  What Tea Party patriots may wonder is what they ought to do, and the answer is simple:  Keep the pressure on.  Sustain it.  Keep calling and writing and faxing.  Keep putting up primary challengers for RINOs.  Keep pushing.  You have a long, long way to go, but momentum is in your favor for a change.  Find your friends and family and make your sales pitch.  Convince them on the merits of your arguments.  Show them.  Lead them.

You have a real opportunity, the first one in more than three decades, to change substantially the course of the country. If our nations survives the next decade intact, it will be solely because you have put in the work to get it done,  to change the focus of the debate, and make the establishment that dominates both parties come to heel.  Be exceedingly careful about who you support in the primary season.

There are only a couple of candidates who share the bulk of our values, and we should be exceedingly careful to vet them ourselves, to see who has lived them, fought for them, and stood implacably against the assaults of the left.  It’s coming to be time to see that we’re all counted.  Let’s make sure we are registered to vote in our states, and that we are registered as members of the party whose primary we wish to affect, particularly in closed-primary states.  It’s going to take a ground-swell from you to get it done next year.  The next battle is already underway, and you are now able to see a path to victory.  It’s time to seize it.
