Before Endorsing Romney, McCain Scrubbed YouTube

McCain 2008 Ad

Guess what Buzzfeed dug up?  Apparently, before endorsing Mitt Romney, there were certain videos John McCain needed to take down not to seem like a typical self-contradictory political hack.  This is what happens in our modern politics.  Candidates make war against one another in one campaign, and kiss the asses of one another in the next.  Look folks, if you need more evidence that these people are all effectively on the same team, this is it.   H/T RightScoop for spotting this story.  Here’s the video, a 2008 primary campaign ad ran by McCain attacking Romney for his flip-flopping, scrubbed from McCain’s Youtube account:

I guess what was important to McCain in 2008 in the character of his Republican opponent no longer matters now that he needs to endorse Romney for the sake of the GOP establishment.  This makes McCain an even greater flip-flopper than we already suspected.  Looking at this ad in retrospect, it was merely another case of one RINO pot calling another RINO kettle “black.”

This is sickening.  This is what you get with the RINO set.  This is why if Romney does get the nomination, he will lose. Big time.

Don't be so quick to vilify McCain or Romney. Cut somebody some slack now and then. A flip does not always imply deceit. People do change their minds, sometimes for the better. Even if this is not one of those times, we all need to at least stop to understand what it takes to run a campaign, especially against Obama. It's going to take a lot of effort, and a lot of political will. A candidate needs all the help they can get.

So, for anyone, including Mark, who thinks they always know better – you should first ask yourself if you would be willing to run for president. Do you have any skeletons in your closet? Have you always maintained the same standards, and followed your own advice. I think for most of us, the answer is no. You talk about calling the kettle black, yet none of us have ever lived our lives under so much scrutiny. I doubt most of us could handle it – or pass the test.

Are you really willing to 'cast the first stone?'

Mark are you setting us up for a third party?
Don't we have a Constitutional Party?

Thanks for sharing. This is the kind of thing the establishment GOP needs to know is circulating among the little people (or We the People, to you and me). I would agree that Romney is no longer the person to beat Obama. In my opinion, we have to hit Obama where we can be most effective — by winning over the independents. Thanks, markamerica!

Lol. If the American people really gave a damn what this clown thinks we'd be calling him president McCain. Exit stage left you centrist piece of trash.

As said before McCain and Romney are a pair, both profoundly RINO's. it is not simply getting rid of Obama, but putting someone in as President who will stop the bleeding and begin to turn things around. Romney will not even stop the bleeding, let alone start turning things around. Like Obama and McCain, Romney is owned by the elitist – sold out is another word.
